The proposed Project will create a new north/south route connection for the City, providing congestion relief on SR 285, increasing local street access, connectivity, and capacity for all modes. The Project will improve access and safety for bicyclists, pedestrians, and transit operations along the roadway and waterfront. It will also enhance safety by eliminating 2 at-grade crossings of the BNSF Railway. The Project creates a third evacuation route through the City and will help support the North Wenatchee business district.
